How to take a screen shot on mac

There are three different way to take a screenshot on Mac Os X


To save it on desktop:
press command ->shift ->3: to take a picture of the whole screen
press command ->shift ->4: to take a picture of the selected part of the screen
press command ->;shift ->4 ->press space ->click on the window: to take a picture of the selected window  Example:

press command ->control ->shift ->3: to take a picture of the whole screen
press command ->control ->shift ->4: to take a picture of the selected part of the screen
